History
Francis Price has over 40 years experience in the design and manufacture of products tailored to the specific needs of the healthcare market. Our Parent Company "The Behrens Group" has been distributors of textiles since 1834. Today the group has companies supplying fabrics & finished product into all areas of the textile wholesale & retail markets with an established sourcing and distribution network worldwide.
Current Contracts
Francis Price is an approved supplier to the NHS. All of our fabrics have been tested to ensure compliance with NHS Specification for Flame Retardant Fabrics. All our fabrics meet the required British Standard BS 5867 Part 2 type C.

Environmental Policy
All of our suppliers conform to the requirements of local and international laws and regulations. Practical efforts are made to reduce the use of energy, water and raw materials. Waste should be disposed of in a safe, efficient and environmentally responsible manner. Suppliers should work with the local environment officers to ensure air, water and odour pollution is kept within defined limits. Suppliers will abide by international law and must not use banned chemicals.
All of “Francis Price Contracts” major suppliers are issued with this policy and are required to comply. It is essential we work together with our suppliers to maintain a long term sustainable environmental policy.
Health & Safety Policy
"Our Company safety vision is to achieve ZERO injuries and ZERO instances of work related ill health."
This is underpinned by a fundamental belief that all workplace injuries and instances of occupational ill-health are preventable and that good health and safety management is good business. We will not carry out work activities unless we can do them safely.
The board of directors of "The Behrens Group" accept the moral and legal responsibility for the health and safety of employees and other parties who may be affected by the Company’s operations. The Company regards the promotion of health and safety measures as a mutual objective for management and employees at all levels.

Our factories are all ISO9001 registered and we are currently awaiting certification of our UK offices for ISO9001 & ISO14001.
